FRANCK DUBOURDIEU NAMED DIRECTOR OF QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AT KEOLIS COMMUTER SERVICES

Dubourdieu to Oversee Quality Assurance and Regulation Compliance Activities For MBTA’s Commuter Rail System

BOSTON – July 14, 2014 – Keolis Commuter Services has named Franck Dubourdieu director of quality and environmental services, for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) commuter rail contract, which Keolis began operating on July 1. In this role, he will oversee quality assurance, regulation compliance, and performance management and introduce LEAN management in the organization’s activities

Dubourdieu has more than 20 years of experience working on a variety of passenger railroad operations.  He comes to Keolis from Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français (SNCF), where he recently served as director for the Transilien Commuter Rail Lines and regional director for the South East Paris Region.  In these capacities, Dubourdieu implemented quality assurance programs in both the operational and commercial departments.

Dubourdieu also managed projects aimed at improving operational performance, including train planning, dispatching and run cuts.  Additionally, he oversaw mid- and long-term infrastructure projects for both rail lines and stations.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Institut Commercial de Nancy in Nancy, France.
