Tickets available for round trip train service departing South Station & Providence for first pre-season New England Patriots game August 9
BOSTON – August 8, 2018 – Keolis Commuter Services (Keolis), the MBTA’s operating partner for the commuter rail, today announced that New England Patriots fans have an additional travel option to get to and from games at Gillette Stadium this season. Two special trains, one departing from Boston’s South Station and another departing from Providence, are scheduled for the first pre-season game of the year Thursday and will arrive at Gillette Station prior to the 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
Round trip tickets are $20 and are available for purchase now with the mTicket app or at ticket offices inside South Station, North Station and Back Bay Station.
“We hope passengers take advantage of the convenience and affordability of trains operating directly to Gillette Stadium this season,” said David Scorey, CEO and General Manager, Keolis. “This unique service helps to reduce traffic and eliminate the costs and hassles associated with driving.”

Return trains will depart 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game. A full schedule of 2018 pre-season and regular season trains can be found by visiting mbta.com/destinations.
Customers are reminded that posted times are departure times. Bicycles, alcohol and large backpacks are prohibited on Patriots trains and personal items brought onboard should adhere to the Gillette Stadium Bag Policy. Items may not be left on trains.
